This is contest time on the East Coast. Just happens to coincide with the peak of hurricane season. Virginia Beach's East Coast Surfing Championships was at the end of last month, and the Eastern Surfing Association Championships is next week in the Outer Banks, with the Outer Banks Pro to follow shortly thereafter.
We're really looking forward to our move to North Carolina to be able to support the many contests that happen along that stretch of sand. While Virginia Beach does house many large events and contests as well, we feel the "small town" atmosphere of NC will lend itself well to surf ministry.
