The big topic of discussion this week has been Jen's dental hygiene exam. See, she has to take the NC version of this exam, after already doing the same thing in VA & FL. This exam is difficult not because it's hard to pass, but you have to bring your own patient. The rules for the patient are very strict - they have to have just the right amount of tartar, but not too much. It can also only be in certain areas. Basically, they make it really difficult on the hygienists to find a patient that qualifies. Thankfully, Jennifer was able to find someone to travel with her to inland NC for the weekend, and she ended up passing the test with flying colors. This will enable her to pick up a job in NC at a dental office as soon as we move. Mega answer to prayer!
